Tilt Five Wins Auggie Award at AWE 2022

At this year's Augmented World Expo (AWE), Tilt Five took home the Auggie Award for "Best Game / Toy," which had stiff competition from the world's best VR and AR gamemakers, including Lucasfilm's ILMxLAB and Schell Games.

In its 13th year, the Auggies continued to showcase the best of the best in augmented, virtual and mixed reality.

Our very own Hans ten Cate ran on stage to accept the award from XR industry stalwart Finn Staber, Co-Founder of Wave and CEO of Chicken Waffle.

"Games are so important to us," said Staber in front of several hundred audience members at the Santa Clara Convention Center. "The finalists in this category are just mind blowing."

Accepting the award, ten Cate said "This means an incredible amount to us. It's been a long journey for this technology to really take shape and get into the hands of so many people.  And we're just beginning... we can't wait to see what you all do with it!"
