Cropout is a learning sample project from Epic Games for the Unreal 5.3 Engine. We have adapted this RTS sample project to work with the Tilt Five System for developer education purposes, showing how to use our Unreal Plugin. T5 UE Plugin and Setup Instructions are linked below.
About the Game: Cropout is a top-down casual RTS example game from EPIC that demonstrates all the best practices for building a project using the Unreal Engine. It has a family-friendly farming style game that has players instructing villagers to gather resources of food, lumber, and stone in order to expand their island town.
Cropout is suitable for beginners, educators, and anyone wanting to learn to create games on the Unreal Engine and the Tilt Five AR platform. The sample also demonstrates the best practices for UI, Enhanced Input, wand pointer and controls.

DRIVER UPDATE : This app REQUIRES Tilt Five Drivers 1.4.1 or greater, found HERE. Please update your drivers before using this app.

Game Launch Instructions:
1. If you have not already set up your Tilt Five® system, visit our Getting Started page for a walkthrough.
2. Make sure your glasses are plugged in before launching apps and press the wand’s Tilt Five® Button (Orange In Image) to sync with glasses to show up as READY in the Tilt Five control panel.
3. Make sure you are seated facing the T5 logo on the game board.
4. Download and Unzip the latest version of Tilt Five Cropout from the link above. Then open the Tilt Five Cropout folder and Double Click on the T5_Cropout.exe file. Running the app will automatically detect your active Tilt Five and launch in the glasses.
5. Have fun playing with your Tilt Five :)
